The Herbier du Roi – Vert motif is the result of an exclusive collaboration with Rmn-Grand Palais and draws its inspiration from botanical engravings of the XVIIIᵉ century. Detailed depictions of alpine gentian, hawthorn and horse chestnut are extracted from the archives of Louis XIV’s royal herbarium. Shades of green are set against a natural ecru background, evoking the softness of period gardens.
